In short
Resin Gallery by Suu is a Sri Lankan handcrafted design studio creating jewelry, flower-preservation keepsakes, personalized gifts, event souvenirs and nature-inspired art. Resin is the studio's flagship material and where it began; its practice has since grown to include pearls, beads, polymer clay, preserved botanicals, seashells, acrylic and mixed media. Every piece is designed and made individually by founder Suu Manamperi.
Meet the Maker
“In the middle of a busy tech life, resin became the place I slow down — and turn fading moments into something that lasts.”
I'm Suu — a software engineer by day and a maker at heart. It started two and a half years ago with a bouquet I didn't want to throw away, and a friend who said, “why don't you preserve it?” I learned the craft, fell for the colours and textures, and never quite stopped.
Every piece I make is poured, cured and finished by my own hands. No factory, no two alike — just real flowers, real stories, and the quiet joy of keeping a moment a little longer. What began with resin has since grown into pearls, beads, polymer clay, preserved botanicals, seashells, acrylic and mixed media — different materials, the same instinct: take something fragile or fleeting, and give it a shape that lasts.
I design every collection myself and take on custom work personally — which is why pieces are made in small batches, or one at a time. It's slower than a factory. It's also the only way I know to keep each piece honest.
What We Stand For
Almost every small craft brand says handmade. Here's what actually sets the work apart.
Founder-Made
Every piece is designed and handcrafted personally by Suu — not outsourced, not mass-produced.
Small-Batch by Design
Made in small quantities or to order. Not a factory line — a studio practice.
Materials with Intention
Resin, pearls, beads, polymer clay, preserved botanicals, seashells, acrylic and mixed media, combined deliberately rather than defaulting to one.
Story-Driven Design
Every collection and every custom piece is built around meaning, not just aesthetics.
Custom Craftsmanship
Flower preservation and personalized keepsakes are shaped around your story, not a template.
Designed to Last
Pieces meant to be worn, kept, given, shared and lived with for years — not a season.
