Your wedding bouquet holds one of the most meaningful days of your life — and within days, it begins to wilt. Preserving it in resin lets you keep it forever, transformed into art you can display in your home. Here's everything you need to know to do it right.
When should you send your bouquet?
As soon as possible — ideally within two to three days of the wedding. The fresher the flowers, the better the colour preservation. If your big day is approaching, plan ahead: tell us before the wedding so we can reserve your spot and guide you on storing the bouquet in the hours after the ceremony.
How to look after the bouquet before preservation
If you can't send it immediately, keep the flowers cool, out of direct sunlight, and lightly hydrated. Avoid letting petals get crushed. A little wilting is normal and we can usually work with it — but heavy browning is harder to reverse, so speed helps.
What we actually do with it
- We assess each bloom and decide which flowers and details to feature.
- The flowers are dried slowly and gently to remove all moisture.
- We design the layout — often a block, a coaster, a frame or a dome — and discuss adding your names, wedding date, or a line from your vows.
- The piece is poured in layers, cured, and hand-finished.
What will the finished piece look like?
That's your choice. Popular options include a clear resin block with the bouquet suspended inside, a framed floral arrangement for the wall, or a set of coasters made from individual blooms so the whole family can keep a piece. We'll show you options based on your flowers and your home.
Will the colours change?
Preserved flowers are not frozen in time perfectly — natural blooms may deepen or soften slightly in tone, which is part of their character. Proper drying keeps this minimal, and the result is honest, beautiful and lasting.
How long does it take?
Wedding bouquet preservation typically takes two to four weeks, because drying a full bouquet carefully can't be rushed. We'll give you a clear timeline when you book.
